I finally found this movie. It's called "El Norte". It is such a well told story about the struggle that immigrants go through. When I was little about 3-4 yrs old my parents watched it and I was engulfed in the whole story. Hard to immagine since I was just a kid, but the message was so clear that even at that age I actually understood the plot. You should watch it.
By the way, it's in Spanish.
Kind of hard to believe that this story only touches the surface as to what many immigrants go through.
